Short toddle from centre of Moretonhampstead town. Perfect for bookworms as the house is stacked with great books. My idea of comfort. Guaranteed good breakfast as Victoria is a good cook. Victoria offers a single whenever available. This accommodation is not suitable for small children or any size dogs, sorry. Parking is on street or in one of 2 car parks within 3 minute walk.
Church Cottage is a 400 year old thatched cottage and is also home to The Walled Garden Tea Room and Bistro. Church Cottage offers two guest rooms both en-suite. During the summer months they do offer an extra double room known as the Vestry which is semi-ensuite. The Harrabeer Country House is a licensed country house situated halfway down a quiet residential Devon lane within a 10 minute walk of the local shops and pub of Yelverton village. There are 6 comfortable bedrooms all with en suite or private bathroom facilities, an updated bar and good wholesome food with generous helpings. It's more of a small family hotel really. I can recommend it without hesitation.
Lower Hookner Barn is nestled in the heart of the Dartmoor National Park, in a peaceful and rural hamlet. They are situated on the Two Moors Way, and have easy access on to the moor which of course offers amazing walking, stunning scenery, peace, quiet and tranquility.

Visit Devon and stay in the beautifully situated Old School on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Built in 1875 The Old School retains plenty of character together with its original bell tower and internal wooden beams. They claim to be 'Quite possibly the best and tastiest breakfast in the whole of the Southwest!' Kick start your day with fresh filtered coffee or tea (including infusions) and a full English breakfast or whatever variation you like! We have a wide selection of cooked breakfasts so spoil yourself!
Lowertown Farm, a 93 acre working farm sits nestled in a valley in the heart of Dartmoor, where a peaceful walk can take you from the top of Blackator to the banks of the River Dart through gorgeous wooded paths and winding country lanes. When Luke and Hannah Fursdon opened a Bed and Breakfast in their 500 year old farmhouse in 2009, these were just some of things they were excited to share with guests. Others include a passion for activities such as diverse as horseback riding and kayaking as well as the joy of getting up close to the animals raised at Lowertown. In 2014 Lowertown began serving it’s very own farm reared bacon and sausages as part of it’s hearty and traditional full English breakfast, complete of course with farm fresh eggs. Lowertown is an ideal place to use as a jumping off point for a active or horsey holiday, with guests horses able to be accommodated, or to just relax and enjoy the dawn chorus.
2 miles out of Chagford offering a suite on the ground floor and rooms above. Impressive house. Fresh flowers throughout summer from their own very beautiful gardens where you are invited to relax. Horse riding locally. Helpful owner keen for you to enjoy your stay.

"Very special indeed. You will love the warm outdoor pool. Tor Cottage has 5 double/twin suites all to a very high quality. This luxury bed and breakfast has won many awards, and rightly so. It's a grown up treat of a place.
Bed and breakfast in one of Chagford's oldest houses with loads of character. Beams and a real fire in an inglenook fireplace. Very pretty garden with far views to Kestor Rock. Short toddle into town and 4 pubs for good evening meals.
Totally Dartmoor. Small privately run bed and breakfast couldn't be more central on Dartmoor. An excellent choice for walkers. Home made evening meals in the dining room, and I know that the food is good. Dogs are very welcome to stay too. They are used to taking people 'off the road' who want to stay overnight, and then stay on for longer and longer. I'm not at all surprised.
A wonderfully comfortable house for the bed and breakfast visitor. From the beautiful garden with stunning view, to the well sized bedrooms. Great farmhouse cooking at breakfast and evening meals.
If you're planning to visit the famous village of Widecombe-in-the-Moor to take a look at the church of St. Pancras which is known locally as the Cathedral of the Moor, or to spend the day at Widecombe Fair, then you might like to know about this wayside B&B in the village which has three rooms on offer. Two of which share a bathroom, and one, a twin/double that sports it's own private shower room. Diana offers a luggage forwarding service and packed lunches for walkers on the nearby Two Moors Way
With stylish interiors, sumptuous bed linen and cosy rooms Hollyberry Barn Bed & Breakfast is a hidden little gem offering luxurious accommodation, all set within one mile from the pretty town of Chagford. With breathtaking views overlooking Dartmoor it is the ideal base for exploring, walking, fishing, golf, horseriding or just to unwind, relax and enjoy some of the excellent pubs and restaurants in the area.
In a small hamlet away from busy traffic. Trudie has been an excellent landlady for many years. Quality bedrooms. This is a real working farm in the heart of a quiet Dartmoor hamlet where the farming family keep their horses. Free range eggs, local bacon and wonderful home made marmalade on the breakfast table.
I paid a visit to Penny at Brook Farmhouse and absolutely loved it! Ancient thatched farmhouse full of charm. Homemade biscuits to have with your tea. Easy access into Exeter. I thought that it had only one bedroom on offer, but actually there are 3 bedrooms which Penny will only let to one party, so it is most frequently used just as a double. Apart from the huge main bedroom there is a spacious double and a child's bedroom, again with a double bed on offer. They share a bathroom, but it's a great space at the top of your own private, steep, charming staircase plus your own roomy guest lounge.
This quality 2 room bed and breakfast has breathtaking panoramic view across Dartmoor, Holwell Bungalow is an architects Eco design house, set in the Becka Brook Valley at the foot of Haytor. Each of the two newly decorated rooms has a larger than average en-suite, tea and coffee facilities, hairdryer, free sat TV and most important those guaranteed views over Dartmoor and their 23 acres of fields. Being believers of 'keeping it local' breakfast will consist of eggs from their own chickens and bread made fresh by hand. All welcome - walkers, cyclists or those just wanting to relax and unwind.
